WORK EXPERIENCE

 My career began in 1998. While some aspects of my experience, like Crystal Reports and Windows NT, may no longer be relevant, they still provide a comprehensive view of my professional journey. Reflecting on my career has been a delightful trip down memory lane.  Please feel free to contact with any questions. 

SR. MANAGER OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS, FLUID INTERIORS 3/2022 - 9/2024

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensures business needs around information systems are understood and translated into effective solutions to meet needs, including but not limited to CRM, Warehouse Management, ERP, Asset Management


  • Provides expert guidance and development of solutions on the evolving Microsoft stack of services including but not limited to Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics, Planner, Full Power Platform, Office Suite, Azure Active Directory, File System support.


  • Provides effective business analyst engagement and project management coordination of subject matter experts, stakeholders, sponsors, vendors, IT staff, and others to achieve effective project goals


  • Promotes and train the use of IT technologies as they evolve, including the maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base.

MANAGER OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, TACO JOHNS INTL 2/2021-3/2022

Key Responsibilities:

  

  •  Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services. 


  •  Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure. 


  • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.


  •  Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.

                    o Upgrading Firewall to Fortinet in the cloud

                    o Implemented need to know access.

                    o CrowdStrike for endpoint protection.

                    o Ensured data encryption in transmission as well as at rest.

                    o Implemented regular PEN testing.

                    o Provided End user training through Knowbe4.

                    o Established backup and disaster recovery protocols.

Key Responsibilities: 

  

  • Managed Information Technology Team responsible for administration, configuration, maintenance of all core systems. 


  • Managed and maintained relationships with all IT Vendors


  • Created IT polices around the help desk. 


  • Project proposals and approvals, equipment requests, hardware use policies, as well as invoice payment and management.


  • Worked with CFO, CEO as well as VP of finance on coming up with an IT budget for FY2020.

  • Manage IT for the entire US region, with a staff of 2. Locations include MN, FL, Brazil, China, and various smaller satellite offices around the country.


  • Establish IT Process and protocols to help manage help desk issue tickets.

BI/DATA ANALYST, AMERIPRIDE SERVICES 9/2009-3/2013

Key Responsibilities:   

  

  • Receive request for reports either through a project, user, or department head.


  • Work with PMO and others on the business side to gather the requirements for the report’s requests related to projects.


  • Gather Data by developing a view, table, or universe using PL\SQL or IDT through BOE


  • Put the report together according the agreed upon format established with the end user.


  • Once report has gone through the UAT process, and approved, work with IT to get report approved through change management.


  • Manage Project Related to Pre-Deployment Cleanup of Route Accounting Package.


  • Facilitate Conference Calls with Plant Management and staff on bi-weekly basis.


  •  Manage and maintain project plans.


  • Communicate changes to business sponsors, stakeholders, and project team.


  • Establish and maintain deadlines as they pertain to current projects.


  • Query and analyze data to help prepare location for successful implementation.


  • Develop Complex SQL views and tables in PL/SQL to pull data for reports.


  • Develop Reports as user’s request them using Crystal Reports 2011 and SAP BOE.


  • Work with staff to determine proper layout, and data is being displayed on report.


  • Provided input on the ACE project which lead to the creation of the garment completion report.


  •  Developed multiple reports in support of major projects. Reports include the new Pick List in report center, the Stockroom Grading Evaluation report, as well as the Loss and Damaged Detail Report.

PROJECT MANAGER/IMPLEMENTATION SPEC, G&K SERVICES 2/2005-1/2009

Key Responsibilities:    

  

  • Manage projects involving Plant moves, Acquisitions, Plant startups, Software upgrades, Software and hardware installs, and personnel Training:

                      o Facilitate conference calls with staff on a weekly or biweekly basis.

                      o Facilitate all 3rd party vendor activities and negotiate pricing.

                      o Determine layout\location of new plant systems and other equipment.

                      o Managed and maintained project plans.

                      o Communicate change to business and sponsor


  • Establish and maintain deadlines as they pertain to current plant systems projects.


  • Query and analyze data to help prepare location for successful implementation:

                     o Production Activities

                     o Office route accounting activities

                     o Stockroom processes and other activities

  •  Planning and implementing tracking and Sort system at all plant locations.

                     o Partnered with Service team to validate new system benefits.


  • Provide Support for tracking and sorting systems at all plant locations.


  •  Manage and execute Implementation of new software or upgrades to existing software for tracking/sorting system.


  • Define, Document, and solve uncommon issues regarding acquisitions and or new plant installs.


  • Provide production analysis for new Business Acquisitions.


  • Provide Plant analysis for production processes and procedures.


  • Perform Plant sites visit to ensure all plant practices, processes and procedures are in place to ensure smooth systems install for tracking and sorting systems installation.


  • Function as a liaison between IT and Operations Dept. as well as other vendors 

LEVEL 1 HELPDESK ANALYST, G&K SERVICES 7/2005-1/2009

Key Responsibilities:    

   

Assist end users by troubleshooting standard PC hardware/software, networking and proprietary software problems and answering questions about system procedures, system status and power-down procedures. You'll also provide after-hours pager support and escalate incidents after all efforts are exhausted to meet customer needs

  • Troubleshoot and solve problems related to NT workstation and server. 
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems related to Win 2K3 server
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems related to Windows XP.
  • Perform installs and repairs of Lotus Notes Applications.
  • Troubleshoot all network connectivity issues.
  • Reset network password in windows 2K3.
  • Provide support for the company’s proprietary software applications using SQL 2k as a tool.
  • Provide any and all PC support via telephone for the end user using remotely possible software.

IT DESKTOP SUPPORT ANALYST, FORWARD TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES 12/1999-5/2001

Key Responsibilities:    

    

  • Primary contact to users when experiencing hardware and software related issues.
  • Keep the IS Director informed of any hardware needs reported or requested by users or by professional observation.
  • Install and configure new workstations on the network.
  • Deal with vendors: research, price, evaluate and recommend workstation hardware and software.
  • Ensure workstations are running as efficiently as possible from a hardware and software standpoint.
  • Install, configure and train users on any “new” software that they receive on their PC. 
  • Assist the IS Director with installing, configuring and repairing/fixing all network hardware and software.
  • Responsible for all network backups (backup schedules, tape changes, restores, etc).
  • Assists IS Director with the setting up of new users on the network and install new printers/queues.
  • Monitor the network’s performance, traffic, license issues, etc.
  • Keep network as clean as possible, ensuring that old and/or unwanted files are purged, print queues are kept small, etc.


IT DESKTOP SUPPORT CARGILL INC 3/1999-8/1999 (CONTRACT)

Key Responsibilities:    

      

  • Hardware repair and configuration of desktop and laptop PCs.
  • Hardware repair on HP brand printers.
  • Troubleshoot various hardware and software problems.
  • Responsible for communicating with end user on a regular basis.
  • Install and configure various software applications.


BUILDROOM TECHNICIAN 3M 12/1998-3/1999 (CONTRACT)

Key Responsibilities:         


  •  Install and configure software for 3M soles team. Software Includes:
